Cara Menunjukan Presentase Baterai di Android KitKat

Hari ini saya mencoba mengupgrade android saya (Galaxy S Advance) menggunakan Carbon Rom KitKat. Karena saya sudah melakukan root dan sebelumnya juga menggunakan costum rom (Light JB), maka prosesnya tidaklah terlalu rumit.

Setelah selesai melakukan upgrade, ternyata saya baru sadar bahwa ada 1 fitur android Jelly Bean yang saya tidak temukan, yaitu menampilkan angka presentase dari baterai. *Edit 14/11/14, setelah saya mencoba mengutak-atik android saya hari ini, ternyata opsi untuk mengubah display battery sudah disediakan oleh Carbon KitKat, bahkan opsinya sangat bagus.

 Sayapun lalu mencoba mencari tahu, apakah fitur ini memang benar-benar tidak ada di KitKat. Ternyata Google sudah membuat fitur ini, tapi sampai dengan versi ini, fitur ini masih belum sempurna sehingga masih disembunyikan. Permasalahannya adalah apabila diaktifkan, angka presentase dari sisa tenaga baterai berada di dalam gambar baterai, berbeda dengan versi Jelly Bean, dimana angka presentase ada di sebelah kiri gambar baterai. 

Adapun untuk mengaktifkannya terdapat 2 buah cara:
  1. Menggunakan Aplikasi“Percent Enabler”. Aplikasi ini bisa diunduh langsung di google play, dan bisa langsung diaktifkan dengan mudah disana.   
  2. Menggunakan "ADB Command". Untuk bisa mengaktifkan dengan cara ini anda membutuhkan emulator terminal (command prompt di Linux). Carilah Android Terminal Emulator di Google Play dan selanjutnya masukan command ADB shell content insert – URL content://settings/system – bind name:s:status_bar_show_battery_percent – bind value:i:1

NB: Saat membuat artikel blog ini, saya juga menemukan hal yang baru, biasanya sewaktu di JB, untuk mengambil screenshot di android kita menekan tombol home+power, tapi di KitKat ini ternyata sudah berubah menjadi tombol volume down+power :D
